Flat Plan - Front Cover & Contents

Here are two of my flat pans that I designed for my front cover. One is standard to common conventions of having one main image with text featuring to the side and part of the image being included in the masthead area. Where as the second idea was different as it is a mid shot including torso with two extra images to the left hand side/ 

Here are two flat plans for contents page the top includes multiple images with boarders alternating angles going down the left hand side. This plan also includes two paper rip affects to give a style to the magazine the  

background behind the rip is planned to be like aluminium sheet so it allows it to be grunge type style. The second plan uses two larger images and has larger text spacing. The second plan also uses images of plectrums, which are used to play a guitar, this adds to the rock style I'm going for.
